The Portuguese Players’ Union (SJPF) presented “João Lucas Project – Arrhythmogenic Dysplasia and Sudden Death in Sport” in the Sports Medicine Center Auditorium, at Estádio Universitário in Lisbon.

The project intends to pay tribute to the former player and former SJPF’s delegate, victim of sudden death, and promote prevention, training and investigation initiatives associated to cardiovascular diseases and sudden death in sport.

SJPF congratulates José Fontelas Gomes, president of the Football Portuguese Federation’s Arbitration Committee, for his nomination for UEFA’s Arbitration Committee.
