Face ao sucedido no jogo entre o Belenenses SAD e o Benfica, da 12.ª jornada da Primeira Liga, em que a equipa da casa entrou em campo com apenas nove jogadores, dois deles guarda-redes, devido a um surto de Covid-19, o Sindicato convocou a Liga e as autoridades de saúde para uma revisão urgente dos procedimentos em contexto de surto.

After the game between Belenenses SAD and SL Benfica for the 12th round of the portuguese First League, in which the home team entered in the field with only nine players, two of them goalkeepers, due to an Covid-19 outbreak, Portuguese Union called up the League and the health authorities for an urgent review of procedures in the context of an outbreak.

O surto na Belenenses SAD, provocado pela nova variante da Covid-19, colocou em causa a saúde pública e representou um risco acrescido para os intervenientes no jogo do último sábado.
